Charlotte Kelly comes to Maui Prep with 26 years of experience teaching Middle and High School science courses. She has taught in Oregon, Washington State, Maryland and most recently the Cayman Islands.
Ms. Kelly earned a BS in Biological Science and minored in Secondary Education at Warner Pacific College in Oregon. She holds a National Board certificate in Early Adolescence Science. Ms. Kelly firmly believes that students learn best when they know the relevance of the material being taught and is excited to bring her experience and knowledge to Maui Prep. Ms. Kelly has also had the opportunity to present at many educational conferences and to lead teacher field investigations workshops.
When Ms. Kelly isn’t investigating scientific discoveries; she enjoys reading, traveling, canoeing, beaching, underwater basketweaving and marble stacking.
Ms. Kelly has been married to her best friend for over 27 years and is excited to continue the adventure living the island life on U.S. soil. She is a mother to four children, two of whom attend Maui Prep. The Kelly ‘Ohana hope to make Maui a final stop.
