Ali Daulton was born and raised in Long Beach, Washington; and decided she needed to live where the Pacific Ocean was a bit warmer.
Ms. Daulton earned her BA in Child and Family Studies from Eastern Washington University. She developed a passion for the early childhood years and has worked in that field for over eight years. Ms. Daulton worked as a lead teacher, a family service worker and site coordinator in both Washington State and Oregon. She specialized in working with families of preschoolers with disabilities while in Washington.
Ms. Daulton is excited to be a part of the Maui Prep ‘Ohana for many reasons and particularly enjoys one of Maui Prep’s educational tenants, hands-on-learning. Ms. Daulton believes that preschoolers learn best through play and that type of hands-on experience.
While not spending time on the floor playing with 3 and 4-year-olds, Ms. Daulton enjoys traveling, hanging out at the beach, reading and spending time with family and friends.
