Anne Allen
Anne Allen is an Ohio native by way of Chicago. She was raised in Cincinnati, matriculated at The Ohio State University and Otterbein College in Columbus and then moved to Chicago. It was there that she earned her Master’s Degree as a Reading Specialist at St. Xavier University while teaching at a small, urban charter school. She is truly grateful for having the opportunity to work with many amazing students as a teacher, learning specialist and curriculum director. Anne believes that students are best served when education is a community effort and is glad to be joining the Maui Prep family.
Anne loves to hike, bike, swim, snorkel, and do anything outside. She is always in the middle of a good book and is passionate about traveling, having visited Spain, France, Switzerland, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Canada, and The Netherlands (so far)!
