Kelly Martin, Paraprofessional

Kelly Martin was born and raised in Southern California’s Orange County. She graduated from Rosary High School in Fullerton in 1989 and went on to attend Fullerton College, University of Irvine, and Saddleback College in Mission Viejo. She has enjoyed working with children in preschool and kindergarten since 1997, starting as an art teacher and later becoming a lead teacher. Kelly has also worked as a mentor teacher and as an assistant director for an Early Learning Center in Ladera Ranch, CA.

In 2005, Kelly moved to Maui with her four daughters – Noelani (Lahainaluna ‘08), Samantha (Maui Prep ‘10), Sydney (Maui Prep ‘15), and Kerisyn (Maui Prep ‘19). Before joining the staff at Maui Prep, she taught for two years at Sacred Hearts Early Learning Center, Ke Kula Kamali’i Pu’uwai La’a, in Lahaina. Kelly loves working with our 1st grade class in the mornings and our 4th/5th combo class in the afternoon.

In her very rare spare time, Kelly spends time with her husband, John, and their children, including Kyle (14) and Carley (15). They have fun with their 2 dogs and 2 cats, hiking, going to the beach, doing puzzles, playing video games, and just enjoying life.
