Kristen Payne, Art Teacher
Kristen Payne grew up in an active family of four girls on the island of Oahu. She grew up around the ocean and became an avid surfer. Kristen’s love for art was sparked by an inspirational 7th grade art teacher who introduced students to a variety of media including jewelry making. Since then Kristen has created her own jewelry line which is sold throughout Hawaii and inspired by the ocean.
Although Kristen has many different interests, Art has been a passion within her life and she is excited to share her love for Art with her students. Kristen majored in Art Education (K-12) at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. Kristen has had experience working with children in various jobs and wide variety of different art programs.
