Jennifer Ford was born and raised on the Jersey Shore, the oldest of four children in her family. In 2005, her sense of adventure brought her to Maui where she continued her work in the field of early childhood education. Since arriving on Maui, she has worked as a lead teacher for both Carden Academy and Kama’aina Kids before joining Maui Prep’s faculty in 2007. Jennifer has achieved her Child Development Associate and is currently doing coursework at University of Hawaii Maui Campus, Jenny’s passion for her profession became very evident last year when she worked on a class project advocating for Keiki First. Her work on this project took her beyond the classroom to a meeting with Senator Roz Baker, an appearance on MCC Today, and an interview with the Maui News. In her spare time, Jenny enjoys hiking, camping, reading, spending time at the beach and traveling.
