Although only a sophomore, Nolan Lehman was recognized by Alexander and Baldwin, Inc. for his prowess as a Pueo student-athlete and was recently named the Sports Spotlight Student Athlete of the Week. Recipients of this honor are recognized by their school as being all-around student-athletes. Having a reputation for being hard-working, coachable, and a team player, Nolan is a standout for the Pueo in both cross-country and swimming. Truly a model Pueo, these attributes also carry over to the classroom where Nolan consistently appears on the Maui Prep Honor Roll.
On the lessons Nolan has learned from being a student-athlete, he says, “being an athlete has taught me discipline and commitment are important if I want to achieve the high goals that I have set for myself. It has taught me to be a team player and encourage others to try hard as well.” In addition to athletics, Nolan is a Life Boy Scout with St. Anthony troop 49 and enjoys kiteboarding and dirt biking. He hopes to attend the Air Force Academy and become an anesthesiologist. Nolan is the son of Scott and Eileen Lehman.
Congratulations Nolan and we look forward to seeing all that you accomplish in the future!
