With increasing enrollment and campus expansions over the past few years, our previous PA system and emergency preparedness equipment and guidelines needed to be reviewed and updated. Enhancing our communication and emergency preparedness covers the essential needs to ensure swift communication and proactive emergency response measures across our campus. 

Each year, Maui Prep’s Annual Fund dollars provide critical funding to help bridge the 25% gap in our operating budget that tuition dollars do not cover. While Annual Fund dollars are the best vehicle to make up for the operating budget shortfall each year, these funds typically do not support large capital additions and improvements which must be funded via a separate campaign.

A dollar for dollar match allows for your investment to double. Until April 30th, every Safety & Security donation dollar will be matched. If you can help us to raise $60,000, you will in turn be helping us to collect a total of $120,000! 

Our Safety and Security Initiative will provide funding for critical equipment such as emergency kits, security cameras and a PA system that includes voice paging, intercom and customizable visual notifications. 

Immediately after 2023 graduation ceremony, our school will install the PA system. Emergency kits and security cameras are slated to be delivered and installed before next school year begins.

With improved communication and emergency preparedness equipment, our safety upgrades protect our community's youngest members and future leaders. All students, faculty, staff and visitors will experience the improved safety and security measures.
