The admissions process allows us to get to know your student. We invite you to learn more about our institution by visiting campus, meeting with our student ambassadors, or exploring our social media and other areas of our website.

Financial Aid & Tuition Assistance
Maui Prep is dedicated to supporting our families through a robust financial aid program.

Financial Aid: We are proud that more than 50% of Maui Prep students receive financial aid, demonstrating our commitment to a diverse and inclusive community.

Need-Based Support: Financial aid is awarded based on need to supplement a family's tuition payment. Many of our students also benefit from the funds raised by dedicated events which directly support financial aid.
- Application: Families interested in financial aid for students from Kindergarten through Grade 12 should apply early through our admissions process (applications are due February 28).

For our youngest learners, private preschool can be made more affordable through state assistance programs. Maui Prep Preschool is a licensed provider, allowing eligible families to utilize state-sponsored tuition subsidies. We encourage all prospective preschool families to look into the Preschool Open Doors (POD) program, which provides monthly tuition subsidies to qualified families.

Step 1: Complete an official tour of our campus!

Step 2: Meet with our Admissions Director, Dr. Liz Turcik!

Step 3: Apply!
The application has four parts:- Parent's assessment of student
- Student component (5th through 12th only)
- Three letters of recommendation (math, ELA teacher, and your choice)
- Transcripts from the last 3 years
Admitted students will be notified via email -
Step 4: Enroll in The Nest!
If your child is accepted, complete the enrollment process in The Nest, Maui Prep's tuition management and enrollment partner (a link will be sent to you in your acceptance notification).A $1,000 non-refundable tuition deposit is required (applied towards tuition balance)If desired, apply for financial aid -
Step 5: Schedule a Physical
Schedule a visit with your medical provider to complete a physical. Bring these forms. New high school students should complete their athletic physical as well. -
Step 6: Gather and Upload Required Documents to Blackbaud (before July 15)
- Department of Education Student Health Record
- TB Document G: State of Hawaii TB Risk Assessment for Adults and Children
- Signed Contract on Blackbaud
- Copy of Insurance Card
- Copy of Birth Certificate/Passport
- Picture of student
Visit the Maui Prep Student Page Information about registering for classes, purchasing textbooks, completing the required summer reading program or AP class summer coursework, or joining athletics teams.
