As parents, we are also grateful for the school’s commitment to safety and personal connection. In such an intimate environment, every student, parent, and even vehicle is known and recognized. Because each child is seen and valued, the faculty and staff are able to notice when something feels off and provide personal support.
For our family, Maui Prep strikes the perfect balance—offering strong academics while also honoring the beauty and lifestyle of life on Maui. Our children are being prepared for the future, challenged intellectually, yet given the time and space to explore, play, and try new things. We are truly thankful to be part of the Maui Prep ‘ohana.

Maui Prep has proven to be the best possible school choice and community for our entire family. Our sons started behind, coming from a low-ranking public school in Arizona, and have flourished in their education—not only catching up but thriving beyond their current grade level—thanks to the exceptional teachers, supportive staff, and everyone at Maui Prep who makes it such a special place.
We feel truly lucky to have found Maui Prep and to have been welcomed with such open hearts.
Investing in Your Child's Future: Maui Prep Affordability
A private school education is one of the most important investments you can make, and at Maui Preparatory Academy, we are committed to making our excellent college-preparatory program accessible to all qualified students.
We firmly believe that financial circumstances should not prevent a deserving student from becoming a Pueo.
Financial Aid & Tuition Assistance
Maui Prep is dedicated to supporting our families through a robust financial aid program.
Financial Aid: We are proud that more than 50% of Maui Prep students receive financial aid, demonstrating our commitment to a diverse and inclusive community.
Need-Based Support: Financial aid is awarded based on need to supplement a family's tuition payment. Many of our students also benefit from the funds raised by dedicated events which directly support financial aid.
Application: Families interested in financial aid for students from Kindergarten through Grade 12 should apply early through our admissions process (applications are due February 28).
For our youngest learners, private preschool can be made more affordable through state assistance programs. Maui Prep Preschool is a licensed provider, allowing eligible families to utilize state-sponsored tuition subsidies. We encourage all prospective preschool families to look into the Preschool Open Doors (POD) program, which provides monthly tuition subsidies to qualified families.
