Pueo Golf Off to a Roaring Start

The 2026 golf season is officially underway, and both programs are off to a perfect start! Led by Coach Jeff Hall, our student-athletes are back on the greens at Ka'anapali Golf Course, sharpening their skills for what promises to be an electric MIL campaign.

GIRLS’ TEAM: THE THREE-PEAT PURSUIT (3-0)

Our powerhouse girls' team enters the season with a clear target: securing their third consecutive MIL Team Championship. They have officially moved to 3-0 after a hard-fought victory over Baldwin at The Dunes at Maui Lani.
With a roster stacked with veteran talent, an individual title is well within reach for any of these standout golfers:
  • Tehya Chumley '26
  • Sacha Salem '26
  • Sofia Mallari '26
  • Ava Kawahara '26
  • Kelsey Reul '27
The Road to Kaneohe: MIL teams compete in 9-hole dual matches to determine the team champion and the automatic berth to the HHSAA State Contest. The final rounds of the season will settle individual standings and fill the remaining MIL spots for the state meet.

BOYS’ TEAM: A NEW ERA BEGINS (3-0)

Following the graduation of the historic Class of 2025, the boys’ program is entering an exciting new chapter—and they are already making waves with a 3-0 start.

The Pueo recently defeated King Kekaulike, led by a dominant performance from the underclassmen. Aaron Hall '29 carded an impressive 1-under 36, while Milo Merrill '29 stepped up with a season-low 43 (+6).

The boys face a massive challenge today against Baldwin High at The Dunes at Maui Lani. This matchup carries significant MIL team championship implications for the 2026 season.

The Roster:
  • Freshmen: Aaron Hall '29, Milo Merrill '29, Sawyer Seamster '29
  • Sophomores: Max Reed '28, Kaina Yamada '28, Harper Royer '28 and Johnny Matthews '28
