Finance Club Scores a Victory at Pickleball Fundraiser!
Congratulations to the Maui Prep Finance Club for a fantastic and successful Pickleball Fundraiser Tournament held on Sunday, October 5th, at Napili Park!
Fifteen doubles teams battled it out in a single-elimination tournament. A huge shout-out to our champions: Layla Merrill '26 and BOT member Mark Merrill, who claimed the victory! They triumphed over the strong team of Josh Masslon and Cici Hehemann in the finals.
Players and fans alike enjoyed the competitive spirit and a delicious BBQ lunch!
More than a Game: The Finance Club, a student-formed group dedicated to exploring studies and careers in finance, will be putting the event's proceeds to smart use! The funds will be invested into stocks researched by the club. All profits generated from these investments will be donated to a charity—a brilliant, hands-on lesson in finance and philanthropy!
Well done to the Finance Club for hosting such a fun and impactful event!
