Wardrobe and Essentials
Maui Prep students wear uniforms, but our guests are encouraged to wear a comfortable top with pants or shorts. We kindly ask that clothing is free of rips or frays. Please ensure you wear comfortable shoes and bring a water bottle. Lunch will be provided for all guests.
Program of Activities
The day’s schedule is designed to immerse you in the authentic Pueo experience based on grade level:
- Lower School (K–5th): Guests will tour classrooms with their grade-level peers and participate in our enrichment rotation, including Art, Tech, Dance, Music, Drama, PE, and Hawaiian Studies.
- Middle & Upper School (6th–12th): Guests will follow a standard bell schedule, attending a sampling of the six classes our students are currently enrolled in.
During the day, you may see our fully stocked art studio in action, observe the performing arts program rehearsing for Arts Night, or witness Socratic seminars and integrated history lessons.
Financial Aid and Admissions
While the priority financial aid deadline was February 28, we are still accepting applications. New submissions will be considered as they are received.
High School Transfers
Transferring during high school is a common experience at Maui Prep, with new students joining us at every stage, including the junior year. Our team focuses heavily on relationship-building and "personal tailoring" to ensure your course load fulfills all graduation requirements.
Transfer students benefit from our robust college counseling program, leadership opportunities, and a curriculum that emphasizes a broad base in writing, math, science, and history. The relationships formed here are lasting and provide a strong foundation for the final years of your high school journey.
