Booster Bash 2026: A Strike for the Pueo Spirit!
The Bozich Center was buzzing with energy last Friday as the Maui Prep community gathered for the triumphant return of the Booster Bash Bowl-A-Thon and Family Fun Night.
This cornerstone event brought families together for an evening of play, all in support of the Booster Club’s mission to enhance our arts and athletics programs.
A Transformation of the Bozich Center
The gym was unrecognizable as it was transformed into the custom "Pueo Lanes," where students took to the hardwood for an afternoon of bowling. The fun didn't stop at the lanes; the event featured a variety of activities including:
- High-energy Hula Hoops and Spikeball matches.
- Whimsical Bubble Fountains for the younger crowd.
- A highly competitive Kendama Contest.
- A massive Obstacle Course where kids burned off steam between frames.
While the games were in full swing, the Booster Club kept the crowd fueled, serving up a delicious spread of burgers and kebabs from the grill.
Celebrating Our Top Supporters
The highlight of the evening was recognizing the incredible fundraising efforts of our students. Thanks to the generosity of our "Community Champions," we were able to award some spectacular prizes:
- Marcus Garnes '31 took home the grand prize, a MacBook Neo, for being the school’s top pledge earner!
- Ever Fitzgerald '30 and Eha Wilson '32 each earned major rewards—including Apple AirPods and a Bose Soundlink Speaker—for their outstanding commitment to the cause.
It Takes a Village
An event of this scale would not have been possible without the vision and leadership of Cici Hehemann, Sisiri Chumley, and Jessica Hall. We also want to extend a massive "Mahalo" to the army of student and parent volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to build the lanes, man the grill, and coordinate the games.
Because of your participation and the funds raised through this event, the Booster Club can continue to provide vital support—from surf team travel to performing arts tech—benefiting students across every grade level.
