Girls Volleyball Season Ends in Semifinals
The Maui Preparatory Academy girls volleyball team’s season ended in the MIL semifinals with a loss to Seabury Hall, which went on to win the league championship.
The Pueo finished the regular season 7-7 and earned the No. 4 seed in the MIL tournament. In the first round, Maui Prep beat Kulanihako’i, avenging a loss to them earlier in the season.
Coach Ryan Kirkham’s roster included seven seniors. Three of them, Ashley Davis, Kelsey Reul and Zoey Offergeld, were on the varsity team that won the MIL championship in 2024.
The future of Pueo volleyball looks bright. Coaches Julie Cambier and Lindsay Hughes lead the middle school team, which is undefeated in Middle School Independent League play.
