ONE TEAM, ONE TRACK: THE K–12 REVOLUTION
Track and Field at Maui Prep has officially transformed into a unified, all-school event. From our youngest Kindergarteners to our seasoned High School seniors, the entire student body is now invited to run, jump, and throw as one cohesive program.
This expansion is about more than just medals; it is about building the future of Pueo athletics by fostering a culture where competition meets community.
THE PERSONAL BEST PHILOSOPHY
The heart of our program lies in our morning "Personal Best" (PB) sessions. Held every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM, these sessions are designed to be the most enjoyable part of an athlete's day.
We emphasize a "Culture and Fun First" mentality, ensuring that every student leaves the track feeling energized. These mornings also serve as a unique mentorship platform where Lower Schoolers train alongside Varsity athletes, allowing our older students to lead by example and inspire the next generation.

During these morning windows, athletes rotate through the Five Daily Challenges. These stations—Speed, Agility, Jump, Throw, and Relay Games—allow every participant to record and track their own progress, celebrating individual growth and consistent effort.
TRAINING WINDOWS BY LEVEL
To accommodate the specific needs of our diverse student body, we have established clear practice expectations and technical windows for each division.
- Lower School (LS)
- Requirement: 2–4 sessions per week.
- Afternoon Technical: Mon–Fri | 2:45 PM – 3:30 PM.
- Morning "PB" Sessions: Tue & Thu | 6:30 AM – 7:30 AM.
- Middle School (MS)
- Requirement: 3–5 sessions per week.
- Afternoon Technical: Mon–Fri | 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM.
- Morning "PB" Sessions: Tue & Thu | 6:30 AM – 7:30 AM.
- High School (HS)
- Requirement: 4–6 sessions per week.
- Afternoon Technical: Mon–Fri | 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM.
- Evening Technical: Tue & Thu | 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM.
- Morning "PB" Sessions: Tue & Thu | 6:30 AM – 7:30 AM.
THE COACHING SQUAD
We are incredibly proud of the experienced staff leading this K–12 initiative. Our athletes are in expert hands with Coaches Tony "25" Venticinque, Scott Haswell, Jason Lenig, Victor Andrade, and Crosby Beam. Together, they are focused on technical excellence and ensuring that every student-athlete finds their stride this season as we prepare for the upcoming MIL Meet schedule.
